Under the name on my posts I am seeing stars in a line. First none, then 1 now 2. What does that mean?

It means we REALLY like you here at ESC!! Well, we do, but that's not what the stars mean!
The stars under people's names are member groups and member rankings. The only member groups we have right now are staff who are the admins and moderators.
The yellow stars are member rankings and that is based solely on the number of post a member has made. The more you post the higher your "rank" and the more stars you get.

The other option is that all you five star users can vote on your star color. Okay, Captain, quit promising them the stars unless you want to go back to programming and drum out some code to make it possible. Here's the deal. There are 4 stars available on the forum. The little yellow member star that everyone but Noobs have some of. Then there are 3 staff stars, red, blue and green. I set the red one for moderators, the blue one you have, and the green one I hijacked and custom colored it to match my avatar. So, at present, there are no colored stars to give out! I will see if there is a code available to add different colored member stars, but a preliminary search yielded no results, so WTT it looks like amber contact lens for now!! I can, however, change the name color, but it has to be the same for all in the group. Since you're the first to make it to Elite, I'll let you (WTT) pick! Just tell me what color, or better yet, send me the hexadecimal # (click for color picker)
