We are not sure how many of you are going to attend the Huntsville Event this weekend but it looks like the weather will be good and the park crowded. Should be a lot of fun.

Same here but my too much else going on is Night Shift through next Tuesday. The weather is looking great for the event and the Harvest Moon is shining bright out this weekend. Ya'll have a blast and I'm still trying to find a way to attend the 4CL in November

I had to miss the event since I was attending my 30-year class reunion last night. We had a good time. Amazingly, most everyone seems to have aged just like I have, but there were a couple of gals that I think may have had some "work" done. They just looked way too good. I'll have to miss the FCL hike on the 11th too, since I'll be in Boerne playing golf that weekend. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do...

To follow up, the event was smaller turnout was than we thought it would be. There were a lot of people that said they would be there and were a no show. They missed a really nice event. We got up there Friday morning and was all set up by just after Noon. Got busy making a special chili dinner and while it was cooking, went caching with Two Dog Knight. We finished up a lot of caches in and around the Huntsville area. The chili dinner went off well with 11 attending. More than expected but we had plenty in anticipation of this happening then after dinner, went for the night cache in the park. FUN! Saturday we grouped up as a team of 15 and went for the other caches in the park. Right at the first one, ran into a lone cacher from Huntsville and picked him up making the group a 16 cacher unit. The caches didn't stand a chance with that many people out there at once! Finishing that up, we took Billy H. and atmdaisy out to cache a bunch we had done in March and the day earlier. It was fun watching this time. Returning to the campground, we had just enough time to rest a bit before meeting at the group shelter for dinner. They had chicken, sausage links, hot dogs and burgers along with all sorts of drinks and side items. Sunday, hung out with some of the Dallas area cachers and left the park about 1:30 for the drive back to the Boonies. Needless to say we had a good time and really appreciate all of the people going the extra distance to make this a super event.

Sounds like it turned out well all around. Sorry I missed it. Haven't had a chance to make an event yet but my times coming.
