I find these two caches a little disturbing, but then, I'm probably more squimish than a lot of people. Apparently the folks out in CA don't have a problem with it as the first one has a lot of finds, but some of the logs I also find distrubing. If someone placed a cache like this in your area, would you seek it? GCTXHM GCVJQZWTT-B2 is exempt from reply, due to his line of work : )

I almost think there is some kind of inside joke here. I imagine that those brave enough to seek one of these caches will find that it is actually a stuffed animal or teddy bear or the like. I can't phathom anyone wanting to actually dig around inside a rotting corpse. Well, anyone besides WTT-B2...

Yeah, upon re-reading the cache descriptions, they are both the same. I am beginning to think it's some kind of joke/gag, maybe the "container" is like a gag gift from Spencer's or something. i. e. the tire tracks and all. I certainly hope that is the case

Sure you can! Exempt only meant you didn't have to, not that you were forbidden to ;D

Just playing but yea I have actually seen mounted and/or completely fake animals done in a squished position with tire treads over them. A mounted animal done in this way would probably not last too long in the enviroment since it is actual tanned leather, albiet very thin leather, and would detoriate over time in the heat and rain. Somewhere in the past like at Archie's Fun Shop etc I saw a fake squished rabbit with tire treadmarks on it for sale. Betcha that's what this is but I think the description on the cache page is a little too much detail. WTT-B2

I also figured it was a fake of some sort just for fun. I was thinking a ceramic type figure but the stuffed type is probably more correct. If it were real roadkill, we would pass it up.
