We did this little walking cache Saturday called the Four Cache Loop up in the Huntsville area. There were 14 of us total and our guide was Houston Control, who has done it before. Us ATMA 2 person team wants to thank Houston Control for the guidance or there would still be a group of cachers out there in that forest somewhere with dead GPS batteries and hungry. This walk was a tough one and without his help, would have been a lot more difficult. Thanks Larry for your help and congratulations to all of us for a successful and fun day out. We love our patch prize. Lots of new friends were made Saturday.

Congrats to you, and to all who completed the 4CL, a grueling hike I've heard and one I fear I could never make, but do admire the ones that have accomplished it. I'm sure HC was a great guide. He's a pretty swell guy.
Heard he took you all around to pay a visit to old D. B. Cooper from the DBC logs. I have it on my watch list. One of our "Oh, rats" caches that me missed the FTF on by mere minutes, beat out by that sure-footed, mountain-climbing Dreamcachers! That's a great cache!!
We've always meant to return to the Piney Woods to do some caches up that way, but seem we never get around to it.

That D.B. Cooper was a hoot. Some good photos of that were taken. We were guessing as to what it would be. I was thinking a parachute then changed my mind to a suitcase. Little did I know what it REALLY was.

Some of us have uploaded our images of the Four Cache Loop walk from Saturday 25 Mar 06 to Walgreens.com to share with others. Here is the link to it and it will require a free registration to see. photo.walgreens.com/share/p=230271143483666337/l=6713509/cobrandOid=1009If others would like to share their photos of the walk last Saturday, we would like to get a copy of them too. A CD or DVD would be great to have for Mrs. ATMA's scrapbooking effort.

Me too. Putting captions on may happen soon too. Since these are to be printed, I didnt want to mess them up with text but the finals on a DVD will have them. Now if we can get the other 4 cameras worth of images. I have seen one others photos and they did a good job.

This would indeed be a fun cache, however, if I attempted this cache I think geowyz would be making another cache out there, using me. Better stick to the two-mile hikes and wrestling with the alligators. At least I won’t over heat this way. Now on the other hand if I could hire a porter…

That one is a lot more than your regular cache day. Some other caches along the way would be fantastic. Lord knows there is room out there. We did think about it but it is so far out of the way for upkeep. That would be fantastic to have 5 or 6 more to grab along the trail. That embroidered patch sure is cool though. We packed in quite a bit of water and cam out with about half of it left. We figured it would all be gone but due to the cold weather, we didnt drink near as much as expected.
