I was going to post a heads up on my new Pill Bottle in the Woods, but dang if ol' PA didn't approve it in about 4 hours. That's OK, might not get found for months anyway.
Speaking of heads up, I'm putting out a series in Baytown called 2nd Obscure Park Tour. This will have four micros with clues leading to a bonus cache. Haven't got them all in place yet. More to come...

Well, now that I think about it, it was probably more like 6 hours. I posted my 2nd Obscure Park Tour caches about 8 hours ago as of right now, and still no word on them. BTW, this doesn't leave this room, but my Pill Bottle in the Woods might not be quite as difficult as I originally thought...

Well, I looked over the Pill Bottle in the Woods cache page this morning, even plotted out the coords and parking coords on my map and see a 7 and in some kind of fog thought it was .7 and was thinking, I'm not gonna walk more than a half a mile into thick woods to try and find a needle in a haystack, and went on about my day. But when the Captain got home, he said he'd plotted it and it was only a few hundred feet.........
Of course, I'm never wrong, and told him I was sure I wasn't wrong cause I had cut and pasted the coords, couldn't have typed them in wrong. I finally snuck off after dinner and looked again, just to make sure I was right!!! And what da ya know, there was a 0 between that . and 7..................
Congrats WTT-B2 on being the FTF!

The only chance I have for a FTF is if wttb2 actually plants it cause then he can't find it first I thought I was bad. I had to points logged for the pill bottle in the woods and was leaving to go find it when the log showed it found. Not sure I wanted to wander through the woods by myself, but it was worth it to try and get it before wttb2. Nice work on that one!

Yea but if I plant it you still have to contend with HC, WCB and CJ to race against for a FTF WTT-B2 and now there are a few more Eastsiders joining the race

Well, looks like ol' PA is back to his foot-draggin' self. My 2nd Obscure Park Tour caches are now at 32 hours and still waiting on approval. If you look at regular caches on the Newest in Texas list, he hasn't approved any since Thursday.

If you look at regular caches on the Newest in Texas list, he hasn't approved any since Thursday. Looks like the man is not a dedicated cache approver. Maybe the powers above are slowing him down. Maybe he don't like people meeting together in a park on Saturday morning. In the old days a cache would post on Friday night, then early Saturday morning you would make a run for the cache. You could adjust your departure time to be there at sunup. It was like a mini event with three of four teams trying to get that FTF.

I can see getting up any time after 6:00am is a waste of time. Do you people realize it's SUNDAY You are all crazier than me, I had better learn to adjust that alarm clock. Going caching with my dd/10 so have fun guys.
