Ok y'all I went by the old Baytown Cane cache and the dole fruit container with the note and coin are still in place right where I left it. The container I dropped is at the same coords Bosun has on his cache page. Walk along the little creek and turn left into the woods, follow GPS the coords are very good.

Well I've spent probably a total of 1.5 hours looking for the elusive Dole fruit container with the pepper coin in it to no avail. Don't know what happened to it? WTT-B2 Now how can you look for 1.5 hours and not find this cache. I did not expect to find any thing so I didn't give it a good look. I looked for maybe five minutes. Has any one made the trip again. Bosun is starting to think he can go and get it.

Anyone notice the Google Ads at the bottom of this topic "Pepper Seeds" maybe we should get a bag of these seeds and plant them so we can all get a Pepper coin.

According to my GPSr I was standing right on top of it but accuracy was terrible at +- 30 feet. I know just about every vine and bramble in the area though WT

I never found his cane cache at this point. I found it at the original spot where the container was located next to the fallen tree. I walk along the little creek to the first easy access into the woods and then the coords are pointing just to the left about 15-20 feet. I'm starting to give the trees and bushes their own names at this location ;D

With gas at 3$ a gallon, it's too far to Baytown

With gas at 3$ a gallon, it's too far to Baytown ...and a 16 year old truck that gets 14 mile per gallon city. Looks like it is only going to get worse. If gas keeps going up it will be cheaper for me to just retire.

Isnt that the truth? In a span of 3 hours last night, it went up 7 cents a gallon around here. How sad... Sure crimps our caching style. With the price of fuel going as it is, driving to work will be a lot like trying to work and afford child care. In a lot of cases, it just isnt worth it.
